Intro Seminar: Healing in Community
Are you feeling overwhelmed by life, like it just isn’t working for you anymore?
Perhaps you're emotionally isolated, alone in the journey of being yourself. You might be disillusioned with the world, frustrated with the state of the planet and life as it is. If you're completely burned out from work, exhausted by past ambitions and career aspirations, you’re not alone. Many of us yearn for a supportive and thriving living community.

Katie Roper, Sundari Staff and Residents, and local Hawaii intentional community and land stewardship leaders
Katie is a leadership educator, non-profit leader, grant writer, village designer, festival producer, and General Manager for Sundari Gardens. She ran a year-long Leadership Program for young change-makers for ten years at University of Santa Cruz and is passionate about team dynamics and practical solutions to enduring social and personal problems.
Her training is in communications, business, resource management, permaculture design, mediation and somatic therapy. She is especially passionate about repairing the sense of belonging to family, community, and bioregion and reconnecting people to food and land stewardship.
A communitarian, dedicated to Meaningful Human connection. Experienced circle facilitator, somatic healing & co-regulation guide, Emotional Resilience trainer & mens work guide. Supporting families, organizations, schools and communities locally.
Current Residents and Staff of Sundari Gardens who are professionals focusing in somatic presenting, emotional and nervous system regulation, movement, ecological design and permaculture
Residents of other local communities, part of our program will be to go and visit several other communities locally that each have their own skillset, mastery, and legacy. Some are older (20 year +) and some are younger communities, each with a story to tell.

Retreat cost is $899 for the week + lodging and meals ($450-$1000), depending on accommodation choice. Register and choose your lodging options HERE. Contact us if finances are limiting your ability to participate, as we have monthly payment plans available.
Retreat includes daily practices, daily retreat circle, daily workshops or events, and event fees. Meals will cover two catered meals + communal dinner. All meals are vegetarian and gluten-free friendly with options for vegans or occasional fish, meat sides. There may be small fees for optional events outside of the retreat program at Sundari.
